Frank Philips (Pernikoff) was born December 13, 1913, in New York City. He lived in
Brownsville for five years. He was assistant principal for the Brownsville Migrant School.
Frank died August 8, 1972. He was survived by his wife, Birdie Herman Phillips, his daughter,
Ann Roslyn Boudreaux of Anchorage, Alaska, a son, Fred Phillips of Hollywood, Florida, his
sister, Esther Stein of Middleton, NY, and a grandson, Shawn David Phillips of Hollywood,
Florida.
He served as a Sgt. in the Army Air Force in WWII.
